Graduated in Literature from UNESP of São José do Rio Preto, she obtained a Master's Degree in Literature Theory from PUCRS and a PhD from UNESP. As a teacher in the Department of Education of UNESP, unit of Presidente Prudente, she works at Pedagogy and PPGE courses, participating in the research groups "Teacher training and the relationship between educational practices in reading, literature and literary text evaluation". She is the coordinator of the Center for Studies in Reading and Children and Youth Literature (CELLIJ). Her studies and research are focused on the appropriation of reading and writing, with emphasis on the role of children's literature in the training of reading and writing children. The articulations with Literary Education in childhood and the learning and development of small and small children guide the publication of articles in magazines, collections and book organization. She coordinated and wrote two books selected by PNBE - professor. She carried out and carries out researches financed by FAPESP, in the line of public policies and special announcements, as well as by CNPq and CAPES, as the PROCAD (National Program for Academic Cooperation) Program project).
She holds a degree in Letters from the State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Assis campus, a master's degree and a doctorate in letters from the State University of Maringá. Her thesis discusses the characters in Lygia Bojunga's literary work. Professor of the Faculty of Presidente Prudente, of the Educational Group UNIESP (Union of Educational Institutions of the State of São Paulo), and teacher of Elementary School. Vice-leader of the research group "Teacher training and relations between educational practices in reading, literature and literary text evaluation", her studies are centered in the area of Literature and Education, investigating mainly the Portuguese language and its teaching, the configuration of the literary text, literary production for children and young people, the formation of the reader and literary literacy.
She is a PhD student in Education at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, campus at Presidente Prudente, holding master degree at same institution. She holds a degree in Pedagogy at FCT/Unesp, Letras by the Faculty of Presidente Prudente and teaching course by CEFAM at Teodoro Sampaio city. Head teacher at School Doctor Aziz Felippe and substitute teacher at Department of Education, FCT/UNESP in charge of graduation in Chemistry and Mathematics working with reading and writing practices. Also, she participates in the research group "Teacher training and the relations between the practices Educational in reading, literature and evaluation of the literary text ". She is member of the Center for Studies in Reading and Children and Youth Literature (CELLIJ), working mainly with the Story Time project as a researcher and storyteller. Her studies and research focus on training children to read and produce texts, emphasizing mediation practices developed in the school library.
